Vertical Slider
New for 2009 is the Fully Sculptured Glazerite Vertical Sliding Sash Window has been specially engineered by Veka as a dedicated, stand-alone product that is traditional in appearance but offering the high quality performance of a modern window.
The 136mm front-to-back dimension enables two sashes to work independently with the latest balancing gearing for ease of use. An option of a 105mm deep bottom rail ensures it retains the traditional characteristics of a vertical slider, and with a maximum size of 1400mm x 2400mm it allows for most combinations to be accomodated.
Available in a choice of white, light oak, and rosewood foil finishes, Glazerite also offer the unique "Origin" vertical slider with a white woodgrain finish to combine modern manufacturing with timeless aesthetics.
Optional sash horns and georgian bar options add an authentic look, and the VS is suitable for use (where permitted) in conservation areas and listed buildings.
The Vertical Slider features a tilt-in facility, which enables the user access to clean the window from the inside, and the choice of furniture colour includes white, gold and chrome.
