Delegates from across the UK attended the much-anticipated launch this week of the new MACO Secure Plus scheme by Glazerite Windows.
Featuring the latest technology, including high security features and new locking mechanisms, the MACO Secure Plus from Glazerite comes with an industry-first 6 point product guarantee and sales support package including offering £1,000 to the homeowner, should a break-in occur through doors and windows fitted with the new hardware.
In addition, the latest innovation is supported by a ten-year 24/7 repair and replace scheme to cover windows and doors, in the unlikely event any of its products fail, the company has also pledged to a maximum four-hour response time in the event of an emergency - if a homeowner has been unable to gain access or secure their home.
Held at the prestigious Linfield Park Golf and Country Club in Surrey and Worsley Golf and Country Club in Manchester, this week’s launches were hosted by Glazerite’s national sales and marketing manager, Chris Thompson, alongside Andy Omand and Craig Bryant from MACO UK. Delegates at the launch events received presentations by the trio about the latest technology used in the new Secure Plus system, alongside details of the unique guarantees available on the products.
Following the successful events, Chris Thompson commented: “We are delighted to have launched the new MACO Secure Plus system this week are proud to be able to provide the guarantees to all our customers, alongside the new repair and replace scheme furthering our value added product offering.”
“We received a very positive response from delegates attending this week’s launch events, with more than 15 companies signing up to the new schemes on the day, with many more expecting in the coming weeks.”
These services and guarantees are believed to be a first for the glazing industry and unique to Glazerite and MACO UK, with no other company understood to be currently offering such a package, and all this at no cost for the installer to become an approved MACO Secure Plus member.
In addition to the new guarantees available, Maco Secure Plus from Glazerite also offers a lost key, secure key holding and alarm response services, whereby if a door key is lost or a homeowner is locked out of their home, a spare key can be delivered from one of ten secure locations around the UK – avoiding the need to force entry and inflict damage to the property.
Also offering information at this week’s events were representatives from Glazerite’s long-term valued supplier, Edgetech, demonstrating how to become an approved installer, plus, John Ogilvie, managing director of Network VEKA, provided delegates an overview of the benefits of the Network VEKA membership and Network VEKA’s installer compliance programme, Assure, available at no cost to all Network VEKA members.
Providing a fitting conclusion to the week’s launch events, Glazerite offered a free prize draw – open to all delegates who attended the events - to win £1,000 worth of windows and doors. The prize was won by The KJM Group, from Andover in Hampshire.
