The Glazerite UK Group Ltd has unveiled a completely new website with two main goals to empower installers to make the most of their potential and show their businesses in the very best light and to draw in more homeowners to generate more sales leads.

The new site forms the core of the trade fabricator’s digital marketing plan going forward, by incorporating the latest best practice to make the site accessible for all users and some additional functionality to make sharing and liking the content across social media much easier.  Complete now with a user-specific customer portal where installers can pick up their latest sales leads and monitor their Glazerite account as well as accessing an industry-leading array of bespoke marketing materials and resources plus all the technical spec and certifications they could ever need.

But Glazerite have a lot more to think about than themselves when it comes to digital marketing as they offer a completely free bespoke website to all of their installers. These sites are also undergoing some radical changes and updates to boost appeal and give installers more flexibility to integrate with their social media to increase awareness and generate interest.

 “We’ve invested heavily in our digital marketing tools this year, the launch of our new website demonstrates the focus we are placing on our customers and their individual needs. Nothing is a one size fits all and they all look for different information, we’ve tried to be mindful of this in the development of our new site,” said Group Marketing Manager, Michelle Wright.

All this is of course backed up by Glazerite’s ongoing support package of traditional marketing and design, which customers have always made full use of.

Michelle concluded: “The next phase of this is to finalise the upgrades to our installer websites, the first phase included making the site mobile friendly and the addition of some more installer specific pages as a result of feedback we received. We’re now adding some further enhancements to help further with SEO and social media integration.  This will all be ready for launch at the end of August.”

The Glazerite UK Group Ltd is VEKA’s largest trade fabricator in the UK and a long-standing Network VEKA member. Glazerite offers a fully nationwide service based on manufacturing units in Northants, Peterborough and Greater Manchester as well as its South West distribution hub in Bristol serving South Wales and The West of England.

Glazerite Rebrand Goes North
The Glazerite UK Group has completed the latest phase of a large-scale project to rebrand all premises and delivery vehicles by the end of 2018.  Glazerite's Northwest manufacturing arm, based in Bolton, has been the latest site to receive the new company-branded signage and directional and safety signage, in addition to a new 26 x 6 foot advertisement positioned to face out on to a major road network.  As Group Marketing Manager Michelle Wright explains, the reason behind the rebrand is twofold: "We planned to rebrand out site signage this year and refresh the livery on our vehicles as part of our transition from Glazerite Windows Ltd to The Glazerite UK Group. With this we'd decided to take more of a retail focus with our vehicles to generate interest with homeowners across the country for our installers. Following the relaunch of Independent Network (IN) last year we decided to rebrand our fleet of vehicles to align with the new look and branding of Independent Network." The full fleet of vehicles has now been transformed with the new eye-catching design. Moving on from their previous trade style with the new fleet is retail-focused, featuring aspirational lifestyle imagery and links to the IN branding and logo. This retail focused look is also used on the large advertisement at the Bolton site, which is viewed by the many motorists of the busy M61 motorway.  Karun Lund, Head of Independent Network, adds: "We are thrilled with the updates that Glazerite UK Group have applied to their livery and signage. The design on the IN brand was carefully created to work harmoniously with that of our Fabricators and Installers and this collaboation speaks volumes of its success. As we become more consumer focused and with the volume of potential customers travelling on the busy motorways each day, the new vehicles are a great advertisement for the successful partnership of Independent Network and Glazerite UK Group." With its sites in Bolton and Peterborough, and specials factory in Wellingborough all complete, Glazerite will now move on to updating signage at its Wellingborough head office and Bristol distribution hub.

Adeva goes large in Wimbledon with Glazerite and VEKA
It's a tough decision for any SME - risk stepping up to your biggest contract ever or to play safe and lose out on a big chunk of business. But it was less of a dilemma for Kent-based Adeva Home Improvements because, as Director Geoff Dwyer explained, the backing of the Glazerite UK Group as well as VEKA was crucial in tackling the job.  "We might otherwise have had serious doubts about taking in on," he said after completing the installation of nearly 3,000 windows and doors as part of a £2.2 million refurbishment of Wandsworth's Wimbledon Park Estate. "But Glazerite was with us all the way. We've been working with them for about six years, and VEKA much longer. We knew the product and the customer service. Glazerite were very supportive; they were up to speed on manufacture and delivery and, just as important, if any problem arose, they would be there to rectify straight away." The job was not without challenges, he continued, firstly in removing the original Crittal steel frames, which were not only set into concrete but many had to be taken out in a single three metre by two metre piece. Also the new frames were an unusual combination of side-hung casement and tilt/turns which might have been a problem for some fabricators, though Glazerite took them in its stride. Adeva installed the A-Rated, SBD specification windows and doors based on the VEKA M70 system, in white for main contractor Mulalley and Company Ltd of Woodford Green on behalf of the London Borough of Wandsworth. VEKA also carried out the wind load calculations for the design specification.  Geoff Dwyer concluded: "This was a very substantial piece of work, and by far our biggest contract to date. But we may well have had to think twice about going for it if it had not been for the support we got from Glazerite"

Glazerite Chooses HiTech Blinds
G-Award Winners The Glazerite UK Group Ltd has become the latest high-profile brand to begin offering blinds from HiTech Blinds Ltd.  The long-standing national firm has built its business offering quality doors and windows using VEKA, Halo and a host of leading systems including Solidor, Warmcore and Residence Collection.  Now, after being named G17 Fabricator of the Year back in November 2017, The Glazerite UK Group Ltd has expanded that product portfolio even further by offering HiTech Blinds. HiTech blinds Ltd was the brainchild of industry veteran Nigel Greening and two experienced Directors from commercial aluminium fabricator AGF Ltd, Mike Yerrell and Michelle Scotney. "We've known Ian for years now - and when he and the HiTECH blinds team came up with an innovative new design, eliminating the common problems we've experienced with other products, we decided we had to take a look. Successfully cycle-tested to 10,000 cycles, magnetically-operated HiTECH blinds offer BS EN 1279 accreditation, along with a no-nonsense 10-year guarantee - said to be twice that offered by any of the firm's competitors with similar systems.  HiTECH Blinds is claimed to be the only manufacturer on the market capable of offering dual-coloured slats to match dual-coloured frames. It can also produce double and triple-glazed units with Georgian bars and other decorative elements.  HiTECH Blinds Sales Director Ian Woolley commented: "It goes without saying - we're thrilled to have one of the country's best fabricators as a customer.
