Our stand for this year is set to be the best yet, with everything from new products and enhancements to acquisitions and new business structures, we have so much to talk to you about. 

From new products...

The main focus of our product extensions at the show will be the introduction of the HALO system to accompany the VEKA system. In addition to this we're adding a couple of fantastic composite doors to our range, one storm/flood door and the other is the impressive high end Palladio range with its unique monocoque core. Also on show will be our new range on Integral Blinds and all doors will feature the Ultion cylinder.

Improved lead time across the variations range!  We're seeing a massive growth in the demand for coloured windows and doors, as homeowners become more aware of the options available to them rather than just replacing with white uPVC. Always one to keep abreast of industry trends, VEKA has reviewed its lead times across the colour options, resulting in some fantastic improvements for you.  A few key points about the changes This is great news and has introduced some great improvements in terms of lead times to you from us: Anthracite Grey Smooth is now available to you in only 5 days 16 colour combinations are now delivered to you in 5 days Anthracite Grey (1) and Cream (1) are now available in only 5 days for vertical sliders Made to order colour lead times have now been reduced to 5 weeks How this affects the portfolio With these changes, you now have our standard range available in only 5 working days. This includes VEKA M70, FS70 and Halo Rustique and System 10, across casement windows and matching doors. (Please note, lead time on doors for Northwest region is 7-10 days).   Materials to support your sales Swatches:  Foil swatch books are available for the perfect colour match. Lead time chart: For easy reference, we have created a lead time chart based on the latest changes to clearly indicate when you can expect to receive products across our range. Shout about the range! Glazerite doubles comp door offer with contemporary debut and more
The Glazerite UK Group Ltd has almost doubled its VEKA/Halo composite door offering, including unveiling a complete range of contemporary styles for the first time, as well as boosting its colours and grain options from 8 to 40.  The move gives installers not only many thousands of extra combination choices but also access to the entire style and colour offering of the Doorco range, complete with the full range of 29 colour options from the VEKA or Halo outerframe.  Glazerite has not only created a fresh new brochure but is also unveiling an advanced new online Door Designer to make it even easier for homeowners to turn their vision into reality.  The brochure highlights the extended range with now 32 traditional design choices, plus the new range of 18 contemporary styles and the 40 premium colours and grains including the original 8, plus the additional option of any RAL colour as special order. The new offering, along with Glazerite's existing Solidor and Palladio products, gives it one of the most comprehensive door ranges of any trade fabricator, as Director Jason Thompson explained: "Two of the fastest-growing trends in the market are composite doors and colour. Many homeowners are now looking for a modern entrance to their home and our new contemporary range gives the perfect option.  With such a wide array of colours available now in uPVC windows, the homeowners want a door to complement that. At the same time, they are being more and more adventurous with choice of door styles. Now, our installer partners can stay ahead of both of those trends from the same source as their existing window and glazing choices." The new doors come with a substantial range of sidelights, glazing options and hardware styles and finishes, plus high-specification security locks and mechanisms as standard - and all with the Fab & Fix Ten-Year Mechanical Guarantee and surface finish warranty.

A step into the digital world pays off for our Shane!
We've been working with Shane Howells Ltd in excess of 15 years and during that time we've forged a strong relationship. With ambitious growth plans for 2018, Shane turned to us for advice on his marketing strategy.  At the beginning of the year, we sat down with Shane to review his business plans for expansion and talk through his objectives with our marketing support - exactly the kind of conversation we want to be having with all of our installers.  With aims to extend their showroom to almost three times its current size, and with exciting plans for growth, it was the perfect time to look at how we could best help Shane to meet his business goals. We broke the plan into two manageable phases. Short Term - Initial boost of business January is always a tricky month, so first on the agenda was a campaign to increase awareness, and boost orders. With an overall budget of £200, we ran a series of Facebook ads targeted at Shane's key geographical areas. Our goal was to increase awareness of a special offer on his warmroof, with the resulting campaign leading to a growth in followers to his Facebook page. At the same time, we carried out a digital audit to review the tools and routes available to his business, looking at what he currently used and how we could improve it in line with his goals. As part of this approach, we built Shane a fully-branded, mobile responsive website in order to give customers further confidence in his business. "So far, 2018 has been all about trying new things for us" says Shane. "When you've done things the same way for so long, it can be difficult to make that leap, especially into the unknown. With the help of Glazerite, I've now run some relatively low-cost ad campaigns on Facebook which have more than proved their worth. I've followed this up with a local radio campaign and the enquiries have flooded in. All this for just a couple of one hundred pounds in spend." He adds, "I was hesitant and unsure about using Facebook, but with Michelle guiding me through and on hand to help with any queries, it ran really smoothly and it's definitely something I'll continue with." Long Term - A drive to achieve those goals Shane Howells Ltd is very well known and respected in its local area, with the majority of work coming via recommendations. In order to cast their net wider, our digital audit helped to identify which areas to focus on and what improvements were needed to deliver a greater digital presence going forward, A major part of this will be ongoing and regular search engine optimisation, as well as continued support and planning for social media.  We focused on the importance of showrooms in a recent issue and it's an approach Shane is already using, with his showroom on hand so that customers can see for themselves what they're buying. With plans to further extend and refurbish the showroom following the purchase of additional space, Glazerite has been instrumental in the development and planning of a great new area that will really make the difference for this business and customers.  In addition, we've been working with Shane to develop videos for his website and social media sharing, as well as sales presentation tools, printed promotional materials and survey forms to help him when he's out and about talking to customers. We're looking forward to continuing to work with Shane over the coming months to help him achieve his goals.
