MORE SYSTEMS …MORE BRANDS …MORE SPECIALITY PRODUCTS – GLAZERITE’S GOT THE LOT AT FIT 2017

Tags: Events   |   Added:

It’s no surprise that The Glazerite UK Group Ltd is promising more than ever at this year’s FIT Show. There’s so much been going on at the UK’s biggest VEKA trade fabricator recently and they can’t wait to show it all off at the industry’s biggest trade event.

Leading the field as ever, Glazerite is unveiling its new high-spec Flood Door, incorporating the Palladio slab and will be looking to sign up suitable companies to take on exclusive regional partnerships.

Not many companies can boast seven profile systems across a whole spectrum of product ranges, not to mention direct links with at least six quality and guarantee organisations, but that is what visitors can expect to see when they visit Stand E15 at the show.

Working with some of the industry’s best, including VEKA, Halo, Solidor, Palladio, Residence, Warmcore and Ultion, gives the company a compelling portfolio, making the stand a must-see for every installer, as Director Jason Thompson explained:

“We have made significant investments in both machinery and people, including our newly opened specials factory, which enables us to differentiate the manufacturing processes for the premium brands in our portfolio. Manufacturing so many profile systems across our product range gives our installers all the flexibility they will ever need when quoting for jobs.

“Of course, we have always had an unbeatable array of systems but this year, we have more than ever, especially now that our City Beads acquisition is fully embedded in the Group and we now offer a full range of the Halo products alongside the main Veka systems.

However, Glazerite’s benefits go beyond the physical things we can see and touch, he added: “Coupled with our products, we are partnered with the industry’s leading quality and guarantee organisations – like Network VEKA, the Planitherm Installer Network, Maco Secure +, the VEKA/ Halo Approved Installer Schemes, the ERA Five-Star Guarantee and the Ultion £1,000 Break-in Guarantee – so Glazerite and these associates can provide the right support package for every company regardless of size.

On the new Flood Door and its proposed retail network, he said: “Glazerite installers are often the first to have access to new or enhanced products. The Flood Door is a great opportunity for retailers to target the many high-risk areas and the regional exclusivity means they will be uniquely placed to market this great product.”

At the core of the stand this year will be the Marketing Hub where Glazerite is inviting existing and potential installer partners to make an appointment for an individual marketing review. With an in-house marketing team, the fabricator is perfectly set up to offer its customers the advice and support they need to grow their business. Glazerite are the people to talk to on stand E15 for any installers looking to get a lot more out of their fabricator.

Jason concluded “Where else could they see so many of the biggest and best names in the industry all on one stand – and know that every one of them is backed by the quality manufacturing, guarantees and service that we stake our name on. A huge part of this offering is the marketing support we offer to our customers, from getting some of the basics in place right through to building them a bespoke website. It’s really all about helping them to make sure their customers have a great first impression of them.

“…and that is exactly why we want to make sure we create the best possible first impression with everyone in the trade – and where better to do that than at the FIT Show 2017”

A homecoming for Brodie - Thanks to Complete Aluminium and Glazerite
It was enough of a blow when a young Hampshire couple discovered their new-born son was severely disabled and would need 24/7 professional care. But it came as a second shock to hear he could not be allowed home from hospital because their house was not big enough to accommodate the nursing facility.  Strict rules meant he and his nurse would need separate bedrooms. But their part-owned local authority home had only two bedrooms for parents Paul Boyd and Rebecca Jones and older daughter Megan, 6, and a conventional extension would not be allowed.  The answer came from local installer Complete Aluminium Systems and The Glazerite UK Group who came up with a clever conservatory solution that would allow Brodie to live with his family after all.  A simple knock-through from the existing kitchen means the new 4m x 3m PVC-U conservatory is now the family's living space, so the original living room is now Brodie's bedroom, with a stud wall to create a hallway through to the kitchen. The team also enlisted help from other local companies, Legacy Developments, Ark Designs, Oli James Plumbing and Heating, Safeglaze Ltd, Ceramic Tile Warehouse and Park Street Interiors for other work necessary for the project. With the project now completed and Brodie home, the family could not be happier with the outcome and wrote to say: "We have been blown away by people's kindness and without it, it is likely Brodie would still be in hospital. As it stands our little family is all back together adapting to our new normal. None of which would have been possible without all your help." Greig Hayes of Complete Aluminium Systems said: "It was a rewarding experience to be able to help this family but we could not have done it without the support of Glazerite, as well as Safeglaze and the other local contractors." Glazerite Director Jason Thompson added: "This is one of those cases where a little lateral thinking could make a world of difference to a family's future. We were very glad to have been a part of it."

Sun shines again for record golf day
All-time record entries and soaring temperatures made it another day to remember when 27 teams of Glazeite customers joined 14 others for the 13th Glazerite Pro-AM Golf Day.  The event, making another return to Wellingborough Golf Club, was all the more memorable for Jeff Dunn, new Group Sales and Marketing Director for The Glazerite UK Group - it was not only his very first day in his new job but he also came away with 'Nearest the Pin' for the final hole.  Top team amongst Glazerite customers was Classic Conservatories comprising of Glen Harris, John Harris and Mark Davis along with pro Andrew Jones of Forest of Arden Golf Club, coming third overall with a score of 130-14.  The players weren't the only winners on the day; individual teams' contributions, as well as companies' hole sponsorships, added up to over £1,700 for The Lewis Foundation, a local charity distributing gift packs among cancer patients in Northamptonshire hospitals.  "It was great to be part of the evening event and raise the profile of our charity. The money raised will provide 486 gift packs for cancer patients in hospital. We could not achieve as much as we have without the support of companies like Glazerite. We were truly overwhelmed at the genorosity of all who took part." - Lorraine Lews, The Lewis Foundation John Hewitt, chairman of The Glazerite UK Group Ltd and himself a devoted golfer, declared the event the best yet, not only with a superb standard of play but also with more teams playing than in any previous year. "It was a thoroughly good day for everyone who took part." He said, "And gthe £1,700 raised for The Lewis Foundation was so very much appreciated. They do a lot of great work in the local community for a cause that touches many hearts with our staff and families in the area.  In the evening we had the prize giving, which many of our staff joined us for and we made the most of the great weather with a marque and live band in the club gardens. We're already making plans for 2019 but we have set ourselves a touch challenge to match this year. Thanks again to all who joined us and made the event a success." Customers agreed the event was a great success... "A fantastic day as ever, and on a fantastic course too, both the golf itself and the evening were among the highlights of our calendar, not to be missed" - Liam Bird, Commercial Manager of K2 Aluminium "I wanted to say a massive thank you to team at Glazerite for a super day at Wellingborough golf club. As always, the event was brilliantly run and James our Pro for the day was a real gent, I know that the team has some fun and laughs along the way so once again thank you very much" - Jeremy Proctor, playing with Frames Conservatories Direct "Any corporate event Glazerite does is always well run and well received, and this was no exception - an excellent and very enjoyable day" - Ian Woolley, Hi Tech Blinds
