Efficient, energy-rated windows and doors from Glazerite
When it comes to energy-rated PVC-U windows, doors and conservatories... it helps to have an expert on your side.
In line with the current building regulations and Document L, all windows manufactured and installed need to achieve a window U-value of 1.6 or less.
All VEKA windows manufactured by Glazerite, in either FS70, Matrix 70 or Matrix 58 achieve the minimum and more, even with full metal reinforcing if required.
There are a number of ways in which you can comply with the current regulations. You can purchase glazed windows from Glazerite, we will then supply you with certification and marketing literature for WER A, B or C as well as compliant U-value calculations for doors. You can also register to the BFRC via FENSA as an Authorised Retailer of Glazerite products. The BFRC will then supply your personalised WER A, B or C marketing literature and enter your details on to their website. By doing this, you will also be able to register your own supplier of sealed units (if required) – as long as they are manufactured to meet the requirements of the relevant Glazerite A, B or C rated windows. Lastly, you can show compliance to minimum U-values by using sealed units consisting of soft-coal Low E glass, warm-edge spacer (minimum 16mm) and 90% Argon gas. FENSA will then calculate a U-value which will be used at the time of registering the installation.
