Sweet new addition to the range

Sweet Hardware rangeAs the finishing touches on new windows and doors, furniture generally needs to tick a number of boxes for homeowners. Not only must it look great and be available as a suite if required, it should be easy to operate and long-lasting. Better still if it comes with additional reassurance in the form of guarantees.

Glazerite’s range of furniture ticks all these boxes and more, meeting every level of taste and budget. Our door furniture portfolio has also recently expanded, with the addition of the futuristic-looking Sweet range. Launched by Brisant Secure, the brains behind the market-leading Ultion lock, Sweet furniture is offered as an optional upgrade for those customers looking for the ultimate in sophistication.

Designed with a simple, curved and edgeless aesthetic running across the whole range, Sweet includes a knocker, letter plate, escutcheon, door handle and self-adhering numerals in five colour options. However, it’s the unique 10-year anti-corrosion warranty that really sets it apart, as it removes the need for installers to supply replacements should they be required. Brisant Secure has taken full ownership of the online-activated, manufacturer-to-consumer, warranty, giving you a great sales opportunity without the worry of having to attend site to replace the product in the unlikely event of a call-back.

Sweet’s longevity is assured thanks to its rigorous testing. Coated multiple times with nickel and copper to ensure it stays looking pristine, Sweet has undergone an accelerated salt spray test, lasting over 8000 hours - 34 times more than the required corrosion-resistance standard.

Sweet joins Glazerite’s range of Fab & Fix furniture, a high-quality range of long-lasting products that perform well and look great. With different handle styles on offer for casement or tilt & turn windows, your customers are guaranteed an easy-to-operate handle with reassuring features to keep them, their family and their home safe. This includes the auto-latch mechanism which locks the window as soon as the handle is moved to the closed position and a key-activated deadlock function if required. For extra safety precautions, the Tilt & Turn handle for upstairs windows has been designed to restrict full opening without a key.

Manufactured in the UK, the Fab & Fix range is built on years of industrial design experience to the highest standards of aesthetics, security and innovation, and is so meticulously prepared, it takes 24 hours to plate a single handle. Every door handle has been built with springs to ensure it never droops and letterboxes have been designed with internal gaskets to keep the weather at bay.

The classically-designed connoisseur handle is the most popular style for standard casement windows while heritage-style handles in a Monkey Tail or teardrop design are generally offered for flush sash windows. The main handle offered with our range of VEKA and Halo composite doors is the Fab & Fix Balmoral as either a lever/lever or lever/pad style.

Easy to install and to use, Fab & Fix furniture is functional, resilient and rigorously tested. Available in nine colours, including the newly-added and popular Anthracite Grey, you can reassure customers that maintenance is as easy as a simple wipe with a clean cloth soaked in warm water and a mild detergent once a month, while lightly lubricating moving parts every six months.

Glazerite’s relationships with many of the leading manufacturers means we can pass on enhanced and sometimes unique benefits to help your business stand out from the competition. For extra reassurance on an already high-quality product, Fab & Fix furniture is covered by the full, 10-year mechanical and surface finish warranty. VEKA’s Vertical Sliders are also covered with the ERA 5* guarantee, offering up to £5000 worth of benefits in the unlikely event of component failure.
