Purchasing Administrator

We are currently looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join our team based in Wellingborough.

Salary:

Between £22k - £25k depending on experience.

Hours of work:

37 hours per week, Monday-Friday

8:30am - 5pm (1 hour for lunch)

Key Responsibilites: 

  • General administration in the purchasing office, cross training across the team to cover all job functions.
  • Helping with running bills of materials and liaising with production and stores to determine material requirements
  • Placing, chasing and booking in purchase orders.
  • Assisting with return and subsequent credit of faulty products.
  • Help maintaining and adjusting stock levels on the stock system
  • Other duties as reasonably required by the company.

  • Strong organistation skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Good interpersonal skills

Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role/and or a relevant qualification would be welcome but not essential.
