Mel Jacobs, Senior Operations Manager
Melanie Jacobs joined Glazerite over 20 years ago in a customer service role. Since then, she’s worked across different areas of the business, gaining experience and stepping into new challenges along the way. Today, she’s our Senior Operations Manager, leading our Midlands division with insight, leadership, and a deep understanding of our business. Her journey is a brilliant example of what long-term development looks like at Glazerite – and how we support people to grow from within.

George Willdig, IT Assistant
George started his career with Glazerite as an IT apprentice, learning the ropes while becoming a reliable part of the team. Over the years, his knowledge, initiative, and problem-solving skills have made him the go-to person for all things IT. Now working as our IT Co-ordinator, George plays a vital role in keeping the business connected and running smoothly. He’s a respected, well-liked colleague — and a great example of how apprenticeships can lead to meaningful, long-term careers here.

Lauren joined us as a Digital Marketing Co-ordinator and quickly made her mark. With our support, she completed her IDM qualification and Leadership workshops and progressed into her current role as Digital Marketing Manager.
