Yard Operative | Barnsley

We are looking for a Yard Operative to join our team based in Barnsley.
This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive hourly rate. With shift timings to be discussed at interview, you’ll be part of a friendly and professional working environment. The role primarily involves offloading wagons and picking material for Production as required, with additional duties as required. Holding both FLT and Counter Balance licences are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring stock levels are maintained and racks are full.
- Offloading wagons and taking deliveries of goods into the yard and ensure they are checked off in an accurate and timely manner.
- Picking material for Production as required. Manual handling high volumes of stock which can often be heavy when putting goods away and picking.
- Put stock/materials away.
- Organising waste skips as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- FLT Licence
- Counter Balance Licence
