As part of a recent project at Preston College, Glazerite fabricated 120 VEKA M70 windows in Anthracite Grey, providing a modern appearance alongside the performance and durability required for a demanding commercial environment.

As VEKA‘s established 70mm system, M70 has a long track record across both commercial and residential applications. Depending on the window specification selected, M70 can achieve U-values as low as 0.75 W/m²K and is designed to support compliance with current Building Regulations requirements.

M70 also offers robust security and performance credentials, with PAS 24 and Secured By Design available across both double and triple glazed specifications, alongside being tested for air permeability, water tightness and resistance to wind. This project demonstrates how the combination of Glazerite’s fabrication expertise and VEKA’s proven M70 system can deliver a solution where performance, durability and aesthetics are all key considerations.

The windows were installed by D&M Windows & Doors Ltd, working as subcontractors for Rosslee Construction.
