Laura Rorke, HR Assistant at Glazerite UK Group Ltd has made it as a finalist for not one, but two prestigious awards both in the industry known National Fenestration Awards for Young Person 2019, and for Northamptonshire Business Awards in the competitive Apprentice of the Year category.
Laura has been a breath of fresh air since joining us two years ago as HR apprentice. As her first role from University with no previous HR or administrative experience, Laura alleviated a great deal of administrative work from the outset from our Group HR Manager.
She has built some great relationships with staff across the business and is a key point of contact for many day to day HR queries and processes. She's worked hard and showed commitment and is now undertaking her CIPD, so it comes as no surpise that she has been made a finalist for these two well deserving awards.
The National Fenestration Awards recognise a range of professionals across the fenestration industry, and Laura has been shortlisted for the Young Person 2019 category. As the awards are voted for by other bodies in the industry, it would be a great personal achievement to win this award and receive support of other professionals working the same industry. The awards are still open to voting until 10th October, so if you would like to vote for Laura please click this link - http://www.fenestrationawards.co.uk/young-person-2019/
