We have appointed a new Area Sales Manager to bolster support for installers based in Scotland, where we already have a burgeoning customer base.

Jordan Davidson has joined us in the newly created role of Area Sales Manager - Scotland to underpin the service we offer to existing customers based there. It follows the growth of our product portfolio, which now includes the Deceuninck profile system alongside its VEKA and Residence Collection offering, and the recent opening of our North Division in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

Scotland-based Jordan has spent nearly a decade in the fenestration industry and will help us strengthen our positioning and the support we can offer installers situated north of the border. He says: “I am excited and grateful to be given the opportunity to join the team at Glazerite. As a fabricator, Glazerite offers installers a huge range of products and solutions designed to deliver first-class installations and grow their business. I am looking forward to meeting our existing customers and welcoming new ones in the near future.”

Jeff Dunn, Group Sales & Commercial Director of Glazerite says: “It is our aim to strengthen our presence nationwide while continuing to deliver what our installers want and need – exceptional customer service and leading, high-quality products.

“By welcoming Jordan to our sales team, we now have a local presence in a growing market. Jordan is key to the continuation of existing relationships with those of our installers based in Scotland and an opportunity for us to reach new customers in an important region.”

Welcoming Aluminium Manager Louis Nuttall as we elevate our offering
We have recently appointed an Aluminium Manager to oversee the launch of our new in-house aluminium fabrication offering, as we power ahead with plans to fabricate CORTIZO and AluK.   Louis Nuttall joined Glazerite in April this year and is based at our North West Division in Bolton. With more than 10 years of experience in fenestration and a strong background in aluminium, Louis is already making his mark for our installers, having led the creation of our new aluminium fabrication space. Louis explains: "Glazerite is a big company with a strong reputation. Having previously worked with the North West Division's General Manager, Michael St Ledger, I jumped at the chance to join them. Adding aluminium products to Glazerite's portfolio will open new business for our installers, giving them greater choice from a single supplier, underpinned with high-quality manufacture and exceptional customer service." Our specialist aluminium area includes new machine centres and equipment from the likes of Haffner, alongside skilled fabricators set to deliver a range of carefully curated aluminium products from later this month. Louis adds: "Installers will have access to a broad portfolio of leading aluminium products alongside our uPVC offering, backed by expert technical knowledge, added value marketing support and a host of enhanced benefits. The expansion of our portfolio is set to open up opportunities for installers, giving them the ability to bid for a range of lucrative projects." Darren Rhodes, Glazerite Managing Director, North, adds: "We are delighted to welcome Louis to the team. He is very well known and respected in the industry for this product knowledge and expertise in aluminium and his appointment is welcome news for many of our installers. In just a couple of months, he has created a specialist production line and trained a dedicated team to fabricate our aluminium portfolio. It's a pivotal moment for Glazerite - expanding our offering to include aluminium is part of our customer-first strategy to deliver what our installers and their end customers want. By fabricating leading CORTIZO and AlUK profile systems, we give installers access to another high-growth market backed by high-quality products." Fleet investment offers leaner, greener deliveries
We’ve just made a significant investment in our transport fleet here at Glazerite – adding five brand-new 7.5 tonne vehicles and one 18 tonne vehicle, all of which are certified as Low Emission Class 6. Not only does this increase our delivery capacity across our Group, but it also supports our ongoing commitment to reduce our environmental impact. All six of the new vehicles meet Euro 6 standards – the toughest emissions regulations in place right now – which means they produce far less nitrogen oxide and particulates compared to older models. For us, it’s about more than just staying compliant. We want to play our part in creating a more sustainable future for the industry, and upgrading our fleet is just one way we’re doing that. It also means we can continue to improve the service we offer our installer partners, delivering more efficiently, reliably, and responsibly.   “As the UK’s leading trade fabricator, we’re always looking for ways to improve service, streamline operations, and support our sustainability goals. This latest investment allows us to do all three. The new fleet will not only enhance our delivery capabilities across the country but also helps reduce our carbon footprint thanks to their cleaner, more efficient engines.” Rob Brearley, Group Managing Director, Glazerite UK Group Ltd   With over 250 people across the group and a growing customer base nationwide, we know how important it is to keep everything running smoothly. These new vehicles will help us do just that – supporting all our divisions, including Wellingborough, Peterborough (East), Barnsley (North), Bolton (North West), and Bristol (South West). We’re proud to lead the way not just in product range and customer support, but in sustainability too. And this investment is another step in the right direction.
